Eating Disorder Therapy

Find Freedom from Food Rules, Shame, and the Constant Mental Noise

Your relationship with food, your body, and yourself doesn’t have to feel this exhausting.

Maybe every meal feels like a negotiation. Maybe your thoughts are consumed by calories, exercise, weight, and whether you’ve “been good” today. Perhaps you’re caught in cycles of restriction, binge eating, purging, or guilt that leave you feeling frustrated and alone.

No matter what your experience looks like, you deserve support rooted in compassion — not judgment.

At Explore the Evergreen, I provide evidence-based eating disorder therapy for teens and adults in a safe, supportive environment where healing is possible.

Eating Disorders Are More Than Food

Eating disorders are complex mental health conditions — not a lack of willpower.

They often develop as a way to cope with overwhelming emotions, anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, or a need for control. While food and body image may be the most visible symptoms, the underlying struggles often run much deeper

Together, we’ll work to understand not just the behaviors, but what’s driving them.

My Approach to Eating Disorder Recovery

Recovery isn’t about perfection — it’s about building a healthier relationship with food, your body, and yourself.

Treatment is individualized based on your goals and needs while integrating evidence-based approaches, including:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Mindfulness
Exposure-based intervnetions
Emotion regulation skills
Body image work
Self-compassion practices

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and weight-inclusive. Rather than focusing on numbers, we focus on improving quality of life, reducing symptoms, and helping you reconnect with the things that matter most.

Take the First Step

Reaching out can feel overwhelming, especially when your eating disorder has convinced you that you should handle it alone. You don’t have to.

Whether you’re just beginning to question your relationship with food or you’ve been struggling for years, I’d be honored to support you in building a life that’s no longer controlled by your eating disorder.

Together, we’ll work toward healing, flexibility, and lasting recovery — one step at a time.
